Central Technical Dispatching Centre

At our specialised workplace, central Technical Dispatching Centre (BKOM) we continuously collect and process traffic information on roads in Brno. We monitor traffic in Brno’s tunnels, and the dispatching centre also monitors the operation of traffic lights and optimises them as well as monitoring parking systems. It provides the public with current traffic information through the Brno Traffic Information Centre (Brno TIC), especially by using images from traffic cameras, providing information about the traffic situation and on-line occupancy of car parks and parking houses incorporated in the city parking system (CPS).
