Demonstration of cooperation between HZS and BKOM for city management

At the invitation of HZS JMK, for Ing. Petr Kratochvíl, as the councillor for transport of the statutory city of Brno was shown the result of mutual cooperation between firefighters and the company Brněnské komunikace right in the field. On a demonstration round trip with an emergency vehicle, the preferential passage through light-controlled intersections was clearly demonstrated. This exceptional solution was successfully debugged as part of the Brno pilot European project C-ROADS. The departure together with Mr. Councillor Ing. Petr Kratochvíl also participated, the director of HZS JMK Col. Ing. Jiří Pelikán, director of the Brno territorial department, Col. Ing. Petr Oháňka, Maj. Ing. Bronislav Kocman Head of IZS and HZS JMK and Ing. Roman Nekula, MBA Administrative Director of Brněnské komunikace. In conclusion, the city of Brno supported the further future development of the C-ITS system in the city. The Regional Director of HZS informed that on the basis of this successful cooperation, firefighters have already equipped 16 of their vehicles with the mentioned technology.
