Brněnské komunikace a.s. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) was founded by a deed of foundation approved by the General Assembly of the City of Brno on 21 June 1994 and by a decision of the founder, i.e. the City of Brno, on the founding of the company dated 25 October 1994, as the first legal successor of rights and duties of dissolved budgetary organisations (Městská správa komunikací Brno (Brno City Road Management) and Dopravně inženýrská organizace města Brna (Brno City Transport and Civil Engineering Organisation)). The Company was incorporated on the registration day in the Commercial Register of the Regional Commercial Court in Brno, Husova 15, 601 53 Brno, Section B, File 1479 as of 1 January 1995. The Company was merged with the company JIŽNÍ CENTRUM BRNO a.s. on 31 December 2013.

Brněnské komunikace a.s. is a member of the SMB Group, whose managing person is the statutory city of Brno, Company ID No. 449 92 785, with registered office at Brno-město, Dominikánské náměstí 196/1, 602 00, Brno.
